The total fee will be\u00a0based on the round-trip travel time between Charleston and the mediation location.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hourly Billing Rates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Two-party mediation: $250 per party, per hour<br \/>Three-party mediation: $220 per party, per hour<br \/>Four or more parties: $200 per party, per hour<br \/><em>A \u201cparty\u201d is defined as all individuals represented by the same legal counsel.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Payment Terms<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each party will be billed separately for its portion of the mediation fee, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in advance. Payment is due upon receipt and should be submitted in accordance with the invoice instructions.<\/p>\n<p>Mediations are scheduled based on the professional relationship with counsel. Mediation engagements are considered to be with both counsel and their clients, jointly and severally, and counsel is financially responsible for ensuring timely payment of all fees.<\/p>\n<p>In the event of delayed or non-payment, the office reserves the right to take appropriate action to collect fees, including filing motions with the presiding court.
